Cast Resin and Dry Type Transformers

Power distribution and converter transformers up to 25MVA rated 36kV are in regular manufacture.

A large proportion of FT cast resin production is in the converter supply sector, where for 12, 18 and 24 pulse systems converter current sharing becomes an important factor and there is a need for good coupling between shared secondary windings, FT cover the whole spectrum of winding configurations in order to meet stringent low ripple DC networks.
